Weekly Update, July 3rd, 2025

Hi Church,

Happy Fourth of July! Hope you enjoy a wonderful holiday. One of the great blessings of living in America is religious liberty. We should not take that for granted as it is not enjoyed by much of the world. Here is an excellent reminder about the important role that Baptists played in religious liberty at the founding of our nation. America was making an important break from Europe in this matter. The video is only 3 minutes long and was made by our denomination’s Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC), an important agency.
