Weekly Update, April 18th, 2025
Hi Church,
Today is Good Friday. It is called "Good" because this day Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins. There is no other way for us to be forgiven of our sin. Our good works do not atone for our sins, just as a robber's good works do not atone for his misdeeds. Jesus' death was good for us and brought him glory as he demonstrated the perfect love and justice of God. Please join us tonight at 6:30pm for our Good Friday service. Praise God that the tomb did not stay occupied. Celebrate this fact with us on Sunday, either at 9:30am or 11am! Just a reminder that there is no Sunday school this week.
