Hi Church,
Christmas is less than two weeks away! Just a reminder that this Sunday we will explore Matthew 2 and the famous visit of the Magi. This passage is beloved, yet mysterious and leaves us with many questions. This Sunday and next, we will deep-dive into this incredible passage. Also, we are excited to celebrate the baptism of Kaylyn Long and enjoy a song from the children’s choir!
Cookies & Cocoa
Tomorrow! Ladies (6th grade and older), join us for the annual Women’s Ministry Cookies & Cocoa from 2-4pm. You are invited to bring a dozen Christmas cookies to share, your favorite mug, a friend or two, and a dose of holiday cheer! Germantown Elementary Christmas Gift Outreach
As a reminder, Germantown Elementary gifts need to be wrapped and returned to the church by this Sunday. The church will reimburse you up to $50 per child. Gifts may be placed on the table in the atrium. Thank you to everyone who is participating!
Business Meeting – Proposed 2026 Budget
Our next business meeting will be Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6pm in room 102 (next to the church office). In addition to voting in new members, reviewing financial reports and hearing ministry updates, we will be voting on the proposed 2026 budget submitted by the Finance Committee. Please pick up a copy of the proposed budget at the Connect Center and review it before the meeting.
CentriKid and Fuge
Can you believe it’s time to register for summer camp! The registration deadlines are earlier this year so don’t miss out! The total amount for each camp is $375 and the required deposit is $125.
CentriKid (2nd-6th graders) – July 13-17 at Skycroft in Middletown, MD. Deposit is due by Jan. 29th. Register here CentriKid Registration or in the church app.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Join us for a traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6pm. This is always a special time! Invite your family and friends. Battery operated candles will be available for children.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
This offering supports missions across the globe. Our partnership is having a direct impact on gospel access, gospel belief, and gospel multiplication all around the world. 100% of every gift is sent directly to the mission field so they can take the good news of Jesus to every corner of the world. Our Weems Creek goal is $20,000. To date we have received $8,662.
End of Year Donations/Offering Envelopes
Thank you for your faithful giving this year. In order for donations to be included on your 2025 giving statement, they must be received or postmarked by December 31.
If you make donations at church, through the offering, please pick up a box of envelopes from the Connect Center. They help ensure accurate record keeping.
