Weekly Update, November 21st, 2025
Hi Church,
As we approach the Christmas season, we will once again focus on international missions throughout the month of December. Our church goal is $20,000 for the Lottie Moon missions offering. Jesus commanded the church to make disciples of all nations, but we have yet to complete our task. To do so, we must encounter those who have different belief systems. Out of love for God and love for the world, we should want to know what others believe so that we can effectively pray for them and share the gospel. To equip us, join us to learn about Buddhism, the world's fourth largest religion. We will discuss its history, beliefs, and our response. This class will meet in the multipurpose room on Sunday, Dec. 7th at 6pm. Sign up using this link: Buddhism Class, in the church app or at the Connect Center.

Are you excited for Christmas? Help us decorate the church for Christmas! Tracie Link is leading this endeavor and still needs some help on Saturday, 11/29 from 9:30-11am. Prayer Cohort: Living A Praying Life
Our new men’s prayer cohort is kicking off the first week of December! Together, we’ll walk through A Praying Life by Paul Miller – a practical guide to develop a consistent, personal rhythm of prayer. Each gathering includes guided prayer, discussion, and real-life application as we learn to move from talking about prayer to truly living a praying life together. Spots are already filling up so act quickly if interested. Sign up at the Connect Center or reach out to Nick Spurgeon or Adrian Mewshaw.

Be a Light to Your Neighbors
Jesus said, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14) As followers of Jesus, we are called to shine His light right where He has placed us. The Bless App is a simple, free, and confidential tool that helps you pray for your neighbors by name, build meaningful relationships, and look for opportunities to share the Gospel. When you sign up, you’ll receive a map of your neighborhood and prayer prompts for your next five neighbors.
Let’s commit together to bless our neighbors in Jesus’ name and trust God to use these small steps to bring His light to our city. Sign up today at https://app.blesseveryhome.com/signup/?ma=0&cust=17676
