Baby Bottles for Wellspring Life Ministry
Thank you to everyone who has participated in the Wellspring Baby Bottle Campaign. Please return your baby bottles to the Connect Center by this Sunday.
VBS Celebration Sunday
Join us on June 29th for our end of the week Vacation Bible School Celebration. The kids will sing during the service and there will be a slide show. After the service, there will be a water slide, water games, Kona Ice for the kids, and gift bags for the VBS participants. The celebration will end at 1:30pm. Kids, don’t forget a towel and your swimsuit!
VBS Request
If you have any solid-colored paper plates laying around, the VBS decorating team would be happy to take them off your hands! These are the type of plates you may purchase for a party and have a few left over. Plates can be turned in at the Connect Center.
Weems Creek Apparel
If you purchased Weems Creek apparel, it will be available at the Connect Center on Sunday.
Student Pool Party
The Student Ministry will have a pool party on June 28 from 4-7pm at the home of the Hallmark’s. Drop off and pick up will be at their house. They’ll also have burgers and hot dogs. Don’t forget your towel! See Pastor Alex for the address and for any questions.
Testimonies
Psalm 71:15 says, “My mouth will tell of your righteous acts, of your deeds of salvation all the day.” It is always encouraging to hear of God’s work in the lives of others – salvation, healing, answered prayer, etc. We want testimonies to be a greater part of our Sunday services. If interested in sharing a testimony, please contact the church office (office@weemscreek.com / 410-266-5527).
No Kids Worship on June 22
There will be no Kids Worship next Sunday, June 22, to allow our kids and workers to worship together as a family.
Proverbs Resource
As we study Proverbs for the next couple of months, you might want to go a little deeper. There is a great resource that digs into passages in Proverbs, incorporates personal application, and points out how Proverbs fits into the rest of the Bible. You will be blessed! The cost is $9. If you signed up for a book, they are available at the Connect Center. If you didn’t sign up and want a book, please let us know and we will order more.
Weems Creek Children’s Ministry has a Proverbs Family Devotion book available for our families. The cost of the book is $10 and can be purchased at the VBS t-shirt table in the atrium (more info below).
Vacation Bible School T-Shirts
VBS T-Shirts for leaders and participants will be available in the atrium starting this Sunday. All shirts are $11. We are able to accept cash, checks (made out to Weems Creek Church) and credit/debit card.
