Films shape our opinions and beliefs in powerful ways. Further, they not only can shape us, films can be a powerful tool for evangelism and faith discussion. In Acts 17, the apostle Paul used popular stories from the ancient world in order to point people to God. Today, movies are informal "mythologies", often creating experiences more impactful than a child's religious routines. Every story reflects some system of belief and can spark dialogue on themes important to Christians. Below, you will find Recipe Cards with discussion questions to drive faith conversations with your teens and children as well as a Movies at Home Podcast. Be sure to download a Movie Night Chat Guide or pick one up at he Faith@Home Center for tips on how to have faith-related discussions tied to any film.
