On December 16, 2007, the church voted to build an addition to include a new worship center and additional education space.
In 2008 we conducted our first capital campaign. In 2009 we expanded our parking lot and completed the storm water management for the ultimate build-out of our site. In 2010 we went to two Sunday morning services to make room for more. In 2011 God continued to grow His church. We also finished the year with our grading permit in hand and in the final stages of the building permit process.
We are presently conducting our second capital campaign, Forward in Faith: Focus on Faithfulness. During this emphasis we are focused on the vision for future ministry God has put in our hearts. The question before us: What am I willing to do with my time, talents and treasure to make God’s vision a reality for our church?
The defining characteristic of the campaign is the Hearing from God emphasis which centers on prayer and fasting for one meal each week. Over 100 in our church family have committed to this special season of prayer. As we pray, seek guidance, and hear from God, we believe that God will lead His people to accomplish His vision.
Because of the generosity of God’s people, we are moving forward with plans to build and expect to break ground in Spring/Summer 2012.
